Short answer: for most Polish households in the US, the pick is DISH's Polish Premium or Super Pack if you want the full TVN and Polsat line-up on a real TV, or Sling TV's Polish tiers if you'd rather skip a dish and a contract. The catch nobody mentions: TVP Polonia is also streamed free worldwide on TVP's own site, so check whether that alone covers you before paying anything.

The one question to answer first
Which Polish broadcaster do you actually watch? That decides more than price.
Polish TV splits into three camps. TVP is the public broadcaster, and its international channel TVP Polonia carries a lot of its serials and news. TVN reaches the US through iTVN and TVN24. Polsat exports Polsat 1 and Polsat News. No single US service carries every channel you'd see in Poland, and Polish sports rights (Ekstraklasa, national-team qualifiers, volleyball) mostly aren't licensed for the US at all.
If your household mainly wants M jak miłość and the evening news, TVP Polonia may be enough. If someone needs TVN24 on in the kitchen all day, you're paying for a package.
The licensed options side by side
Prices below were checked in September 2026 from the providers' published pages and retailer listings. International add-on prices move, and DISH often runs promotions, so confirm at checkout.
| Option | Price (Sept 2026) | Key channels | Needs | Contract |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DISH Polish Super Pack | about $34.99/mo | iTVN, iTVN Extra, TVN24, Polsat 1, Polsat News, Kino Polska, Polo TV | Satellite dish | Usually 2 years |
| DISH Polish Premium Pack | about $29.99/mo | iTVN, TVN24, Polsat 1, Polsat News, Kino Polska | Satellite dish | Usually 2 years |
| DISH TVN Complete | about $24.99/mo | iTVN, iTVN Extra, TVN24 | Satellite dish | Varies |
| Sling TV Polish tiers | check sling.com; varies by tier | iTVN, Polsat 1, TVP Polonia, Disco Polo channels | Internet only | Monthly |
| TVP VOD live stream | Free | TVP Polonia (and TVP World in English) | Browser or app | None |
Cable operators such as Comcast and Verizon Fios have historically sold small Polish add-ons, usually built around TV Polonia. Availability depends heavily on your market, so ask your local operator rather than trusting an old channel list.
DISH: the most channels
DISH has carried Polish programming longer than anyone in the US, and it's still the broadest licensed line-up. The Premium Pack covers the channels most families care about: TVN's iTVN and TVN24, plus Polsat 1 and Polsat News. The Super Pack adds extras like Polo TV and Kino Polska Muzyka for roughly five dollars more.
The downsides are the usual satellite ones. You need a clear view of the southern sky, a landlord who'll allow a dish, and tolerance for a contract. Rain fade happens in heavy storms. And the Polish pack typically sits on top of an English or international base package, so the real monthly bill is higher than the headline add-on price.
Suits: homeowners, older viewers who want a remote and a channel guide rather than an app, and anyone who needs both TVN and Polsat.
Sling: the flexible one
Sling sells Polish channels as internet-delivered tiers with no dish and no annual contract. Its Polish page lists iTVN, Polsat 1 and TVP Polonia alongside disco polo music channels, plus catch-up on some shows and up to three streams at once.
That monthly flexibility is the main argument. You can subscribe for the winter, drop it in summer and come back without a cancellation fee. It also runs on Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Google TV and most smart TVs, which DISH's app can't fully replace.
Two cautions. Sling's international tiers are priced and bundled separately from its English packages, and the line-up has shifted more than once, so read the current channel list before paying. And streaming quality depends on your connection: a household with a weak Wi-Fi signal to the TV will get a worse picture than satellite.
Suits: renters, cord-cutters, and households that already stream everything else.
What you can watch for free
This is the part most "best of" lists leave out. TVP streams TVP Polonia live on its TVP VOD service, and the international channel is made for viewers outside Poland. TVP World, the English-language news channel, is also free.
That won't give you TVN or Polsat. But for a grandparent who watches TVP serials and Teleexpress, a browser on a laptop or a cast to the TV may be all you need. Try it for a week before signing a two-year satellite deal.
Some TVP VOD catalogue titles are rights-restricted to Poland, so you'll see "not available in your region" on certain films and sport. That's a licensing decision, not a fault, and a licensed option won't get around it either.
What to avoid
Search for Polish TV in America and you'll find boxes and subscriptions promising "all Polish channels, TVP, TVN, Polsat, Canal+, Eleven Sports" for $15 a month. No legitimate US service carries all of that, because the rights aren't sold that way. Those services are rebroadcasting channels they don't license.
The practical problems are the ones that bite: they vanish without refunds, they ask for payment by transfer or crypto, and the apps come from outside official stores. We've written about the warning signs to look for and where US law actually stands.
Also avoid using a VPN to reach Polsat Box Go or Player.pl's domestic catalogues. Those services are licensed for Poland and the EU, and their terms don't allow it. Polish citizens travelling in the EU can use them under EU portability rules; residents of the US can't.
Getting it onto the TV
For DISH, the receiver does the work. For Sling and TVP VOD you need a streaming device or smart TV. Any current Fire TV, Roku or Google TV device runs Sling; for TVP VOD, casting from a phone or laptop is the simplest route. Our guide to choosing a streaming device covers the trade-offs, and internet speed for live TV explains why a wired connection beats Wi-Fi for all-day news channels.
If you have a mixed household, a common setup is DISH or Sling on the main TV and TVP VOD on a tablet in the kitchen. It costs one subscription and covers most of what people ask for.
