Short answer: Fubo Latino is a good buy in 2026 if your household leans Telemundo and wants Spanish-language sport with unlimited DVR, and a poor one if you need Univision. It went up to $19.99 a month for new subscribers in June 2026 when Telemundo and Universo joined, and it still carries nothing from TelevisaUnivision: no Univision, UniMás, Galavisión or TUDN.

Telemundo or Univision? Start there
Spanish-language TV in the US is split between two giants that rarely sit on the same cheap plan. NBCUniversal owns Telemundo and Universo. TelevisaUnivision owns Univision, UniMás, Galavisión and TUDN, plus its own streaming service, ViX.
Each budget Spanish plan picks a side. Fubo Latino now has Telemundo. YouTube TV's Spanish Plan has Univision and TUDN but not Telemundo. Sling's Latino plans have neither.
So the first question isn't price. It's which network your family's novelas, news and Liga MX teams are on. Answer that and the choice mostly makes itself.
The 2026 price change
Fubo announced that from June 10, 2026, new Latino subscribers pay $19.99 a month (monthly or quarterly billing) or $189.99 a year. Existing subscribers moved to the new price from their first bill on or after July 1, 2026. Before that, the plan had sat at around $14.99.
The increase paid for Telemundo and Universo. That's a real upgrade: Telemundo brings Spanish-language Premier League, NFL Sunday Night Football and NBA broadcasts, and Universo adds more sport and entertainment. Five extra dollars for Telemundo is fair value if you watch it. If you don't, you're now paying a third more for the same thing you had before.
The annual plan works out at about $15.83 a month. That's a solid discount, but it locks you in for twelve months. We've covered when annual plans actually pay off.
What you get for sport
Sport is Fubo's whole identity, and the Latino plan reflects that. Alongside Telemundo and Universo you get ESPN Deportes, Fox Deportes, beIN Sports en Español and a range of smaller sports channels, plus entertainment channels such as Estrella TV and Pasiones.
What's missing matters as much. Without TUDN, you lose a big share of Liga MX, the Mexican national team and many CONCACAF matches, which TelevisaUnivision holds. Some Liga MX clubs have separate deals (Chivas matches have aired on Telemundo platforms), so check where your team's home games are before assuming.

That last row is the one people forget. In most large Hispanic markets, both Telemundo and Univision broadcast free over the air. A $30-60 antenna can give you both networks' local stations with no subscription, and a paid plan then only needs to cover the cable channels. Our antenna guide explains how to check your reception.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't
Buy Fubo Latino if: you want Telemundo and the Spanish sports cable channels together, you record a lot (unlimited DVR is a real advantage), and your team's matches aren't on TUDN.
Skip it if: Univision is the household's network, or Liga MX on TUDN is non-negotiable. YouTube TV's Spanish Plan costs more but carries what you actually need.
Consider a hybrid: antenna for local Univision and Telemundo, plus Fubo Latino or Sling Latino for cable sports. It's often the cheapest way to cover both sides.
Before you subscribe
- Check the channel list for your ZIP code. Local availability of Telemundo stations on streaming can vary.
- Look for your team, not just a league. Liga MX rights are split club by club.
- Start monthly. Switch to annual only once you're sure.
- Use an official app store install on your device. Fubo supports Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Google TV, and major smart TVs. If you're choosing hardware, see our streaming device guide.
