Short answer: Thanksgiving week 2026 has five NFL games in three days, spread across Netflix, CBS, Fox, NBC and Prime Video. The three Thursday games are on broadcast TV, so an antenna gets all of them free, and Fox is streaming Cowboys-Eagles free in 4K on Tubi. The two you have to pay for are Wednesday's Packers-Rams game on Netflix and Friday's Broncos-Steelers game on Prime Video, about $18 for both. None of it will play in an IPTV player app; each streams in its own app.
At a glance
Thanksgiving week 2026
| Games | 5, Wednesday Nov 25 to Friday Nov 27 |
| Free | All 3 Thursday games by antenna; Cowboys on Tubi |
| Paid | Netflix (Wed), Prime Video (Fri) |
| Cheapest for all five | About $18 plus an antenna |
| Blackouts | None, all national games |
The five games, and where each one streams
The NFL added a Thanksgiving Eve game for 2026, the first Wednesday game in November of the Super Bowl era. Here's the whole week, all times Eastern.
| Day | Game | Kickoff | TV | Stream |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wed Nov 25 | Packers at Rams | 8:00 p.m. | None | Netflix only |
| Thu Nov 26 | Bears at Lions | 1:00 p.m. | CBS | Paramount+ |
| Thu Nov 26 | Eagles at Cowboys | 4:30 p.m. | Fox, Fox Deportes | Fox One; free 4K on Tubi |
| Thu Nov 26 | Chiefs at Bills | 8:20 p.m. | NBC | Peacock |
| Fri Nov 27 | Broncos at Steelers | 3:00 p.m. | Local TV in the two team markets | Prime Video |
Two practical points. All five are national games, so there are no regional blackouts: whatever service carries a game shows it everywhere in the US. And the Friday game follows the usual Thursday Night Football rule, where stations in Denver and Pittsburgh also air it locally.
At least one big season guide currently lists the Amazon game as a Thanksgiving Day game. It isn't; it's the Black Friday afternoon slot. For the rest of the season's windows, see where to watch the NFL in 2026.
The cheapest way to see all five
Prices are current US list prices. Netflix raised every plan in March 2026; Peacock and Paramount+ also moved this year.
| Game | Cheapest legal option | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Packers at Rams (Netflix) | Netflix Standard with ads | $8.99/mo |
| Bears at Lions (CBS) | Antenna, or Paramount+ Essential | Free, or $8.99/mo |
| Eagles at Cowboys (Fox) | Tubi, or antenna | Free |
| Chiefs at Bills (NBC) | Antenna, or Peacock Premium | Free, or $12.99/mo |
| Broncos at Steelers (Prime) | Prime Video standalone, or a Prime membership | $8.99/mo, or $14.99/mo for full Prime |
Add it up and you get three realistic setups:
- With an antenna: Netflix with ads plus Prime Video, about $17.98 for the month. Every game covered.
- No antenna: add Paramount+ Essential and Peacock Premium, about $39.96. Cowboys-Eagles stays free on Tubi.
- Phone or tablet only: NFL+ (around $7 a month) streams local and national primetime games on mobile devices, which covers every game this week, though not on a TV.
If you already have YouTube TV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV or Sling with the right channels, the three Thursday games are already included. You'd still need Netflix for Wednesday and Prime for Friday, because no live TV package carries those.
The free routes, in detail
Tubi for Cowboys-Eagles. Fox is putting its 4:30 p.m. game on Tubi, free, in 4K, with local Fox station ads. No account or card is needed to watch Tubi, and it's on Roku, Fire TV, Google TV, Apple TV, smart TVs and phones. If you've got a 4K TV and a 4K streaming device, this may be the best-looking stream of the week.
An antenna for Thursday. CBS, Fox and NBC are over-the-air broadcasts. A $25 to $60 indoor or attic antenna picks them up in most metro areas, in full HD with no streaming delay. Before buying, put your address into the FCC's DTV reception map to see which towers you can reach, and check our antenna guide if you're on the fringe.
Free trials. Trials come and go, and most now run a few days rather than a month. Don't plan the week around one; if you see one, use it, but set a reminder to cancel.
Why your IPTV player won't help this week
If you use an IPTV player such as TiviMate, IPTV Smarters or OTT Navigator, it's worth knowing in advance: none of this week's paid services can be loaded into it. Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, Peacock, Fox One and Tubi all stream through their own apps with their own logins. They don't issue M3U playlists or Xtream logins.
The one place an IPTV-style setup genuinely helps is the antenna. A network tuner such as an HDHomeRun turns your local CBS, Fox and NBC into a channel list on your home network, which apps like Channels, Plex and several IPTV players can show in a normal guide on any TV in the house. That's a legitimate playlist, built from free broadcasts. Watching the NFL on IPTV legally covers that setup for the whole season.
Set it up before Wednesday
Every year, the most avoidable problems are the ones that happen at kickoff: forgotten passwords, out-of-date apps, a subscription that lapsed. A ten-minute check on Tuesday saves most of them.
- Sign in to each app on the TV you'll actually use. Netflix, Prime Video and, if you're using them, Tubi, Paramount+ and Peacock. Make sure each one plays something.
- Update the apps and the device. On Fire TV: Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for Updates. On Roku: Settings > System > Software update.
- Scan for channels if you're using an antenna. Run the TV's channel scan (usually Settings > Channels > Auto program or Channel scan). Stations sometimes move frequencies.
- Check your Netflix plan. The NFL game streams on every Netflix plan, including Standard with ads.
- Wire the main TV if you can. A big live event is when Wi-Fi congestion shows. An Ethernet cable or adapter to the main screen is the single best upgrade.
Five games, one house, several screens
Thanksgiving is when a single household suddenly has eight people and three TVs. Stream limits matter more than usual:
| Service | Streams at once |
|---|---|
| Netflix Standard with ads | 2 |
| Prime Video | 3 |
| Paramount+ | 3 |
| Peacock | 3 |
| Antenna (with a TV tuner) | Unlimited TVs on one antenna with a splitter; network tuners have a set number of tuners |
Live streams also run 30 seconds to a minute behind the broadcast. If the kitchen is on the antenna and the den is on Tubi, the cheers will arrive at different times. Put the whole house on the same source if that sort of thing bothers anyone. If the stream stutters, our buffering guide has the step-by-step fixes.
If you're watching at someone else's house
A lot of people spend Thanksgiving away from their own TV, which changes what works.
- Netflix, Prime Video and Tubi work anywhere in the US. Sign in on the host's TV, or bring a streaming stick and plug it into a spare HDMI port. Remember to sign out before you leave.
- Paramount+ and Peacock stream national NFL games regardless of where you are in the country, so the Lions and Bills games are fine on the road.
- Live TV services like YouTube TV show the local stations for wherever the device is. The Thursday games are national, so that's harmless this week, but don't change your home area while you're away.
- Your antenna stays at home. If your host has one, the Thursday games are free there too.
Bringing your own stick is the low-stress option: it already has your apps and logins, and it only needs Wi-Fi and an HDMI port. Fox Deportes also carries Cowboys-Eagles in Spanish, and Netflix and Prime Video usually offer Spanish-language audio for their NFL streams, which helps in mixed-language households.
The "every game" playlists
This week brings a wave of ads for IPTV subscriptions promising every NFL game for a few dollars. Those aren't licensed, and they're at their least reliable during exactly these games, when the most people are trying to watch the same streams. With three games free over the air, one free on Tubi and the other two costing about $18, there's not much to save anyway.
